Owner/Engineer John Saylor
John has over 25 years experience in professional audio, with credits on hundreds of recordings ranging from demos and independent albums to major label releases. A veteran of the Nashville music scene, he has worked with a wide variety of artists, including Charley Pride, George Jones, Megadeth, and Mark Knopfler. His work on 2004’s Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster earned a Grammy for Best Folk Album. His ability to work quickly and confidently with a variety of artists, musicians, and producers has earned him a solid reputation as an expert recording engineer.
John is available either at his Studio, Franklin Recording, on location, or at any number of commercial recording studios. He is also available as a technical consultant for those wanting help with their own facilities.
